Position is based in Centralia, IL or in the surrounding area.

Airgo Inc. seeks an aircraft flight mechanic technician with Inspection Authorization(IA) and FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanics for our Centralia, IL Headquarters to maintain the aircraft.

This person assists in scheduling, arranges technical assistance, orders parts, handles shipping and receiving, performs documentation, performs routine aircraft maintenance, arranges for cleaning and detailing of interior and exterior.

Job Requirements:

Requirements: The successful candidate must:
• Have Inspection Authorization (IA)
• Have FAA Airframe and Powerplant(A&P) License.
• C-172/C150 and PA44 aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
• Have a minimum of three years C-172/C150 and PA44 aircraft type heavy maintenance experience.
• Be able to work unsupervised.
• Be financially responsible, dependable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Be responsible for identifying needed parts and materials, assisting scheduling shippers, vendors and contract labor.
• Be able to plan for upcoming maintenance needs and do light forecasting.
• Document on aircraft maintenance registration sheets.
• Develop repair plan and confirmed by the supervisor.
• Strictly follow repair plans in conducting the repair procedures.
• Return the plane after repair and follow the procedure on the dispatch of the satellite base.
• Keep the working area neat and clean.
• Work authorization: United States (Required)

Preferred:
• 3 years experience

Company Information

Airgo operates a Full Service FBO and International Flight School. We are responsible for managing the Centralia Municipal Airport and have our own maintenance department, aircraft fuel facility, and student housing. FAA exams are available at Airgo’s computer testing center (on location) via PSI/Lasergrade contract. By owning and/or operating these valuable assets, we are able operate efficiently and effectively. Airgo also provides transportation to and from the student housing facilities.
